The Town of Vail Department of Public Works is seeking a qualified painting contractor to prepare and paint various components on nine pedestrian and two roadway bridges throughout town. Bridge components may include structural components, bearing plates and railings. In general, the work will include preparing wood and steel surfaces, applying primer, paint and/or sealers as indicated in the scope of work. The work will also include utilizing environmental protection measures to prevent peeling paint chips, rust, new paint and other contaminants from entering waterways.
The Town of Vail Department of Public Works is seeking a qualified contractor to provide Tree Pest Services for the 2021 growing season. The Contractor shall be licensed with the Colorado Department of Agriculture as a commercial pesticide applicator, and all personnel applying pesticides through this contract must be licensed by the Colorado Department of Agriculture as a Qualified Supervisor, Certified Operator or Documented Technician.
SCOPE OF WORK In general, the work for each park shall include removal and disposal of existing cedar shingles and the removal and disposal of existing water shield, tar paper or other existing water guard. The Town of Vail is seeking qualified landscape contractors to install native plants and other landscape improvements on town-owned property along Gore Creek. In general, the work will include installation of trees, shrubs, plugs and native seed, installation of minor site work improvements, drip irrigation components and other associated work.
The Town of Vail is requesting General Contractor construction bids for The Children’s Garden of Learning Relocation Project which consists of site and utility work to prepare an existing site to receive five modular buildings (constructed and delivered by Palomar Modular Buildings). The project also includes wrapping the five modular buildings with architectural wood siding and adding architectural roof elements to the modular buildings.
PROJECT GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The objective of this Request for Proposals is to furnish general information for the purpose of soliciting proposals from qualified Bidders for the exclusive right and privilege of placing approved advertising materials on all identified opportunities and at a minimum replacing the current transit coach and parking structure advertising mediums.
The Town is soliciting firms to manage the advertising opportunities regarding Town of Vail transit coaches. currently the town allows advertising inside the buses, but would be willing to discuss other outside advertising opportunities beyond the basic scope of services. The Town of Vail also allows indoor advertising within the Town’s parking structures and are interested in other indoor possibilities such as welcome centers, public restrooms, etc.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project generally consists of improvements to 2 existing informal picnic areas including clearing and grubbing, placement of road base waling surfaces, and installation of Owner supplied charcoal grills and picnic tables. PUBLIC NOTICE: The Town of Vail’s Environmental Sustainability Team invites artists to submit their qualifications and images of previous art work (painting, pastel, and drawing) for consideration in the town-wide program to educate the public about storm drains and promote the health of Gore Creek. The selected artists will be commissioned to create an original and specific work depicting one of five Colorado wildlife species that live in or near Gore Creek, such as Cutthroat Trout, Bald Eagle, Moose, American Dipper, Boreal Toad, American Beaver or other species at artist’s suggestion.
