Town of Vail is pleased to recognize the first businesses to earn the State of Colorado's "5 Star" Certified Business Program in Vail. The program was adopted by Eagle County in mid-February and is designed for responsible businesses that are following public health guidance and going above and beyond to prioritize the health and safety of their staff and customers. Businesses that opt to apply for the “5 Star” certification are eligible for less restrictive capacity limits that will accelerate their reopening by allowing them to operate at a less restricted phase (Blue) than where the county is currently at, the Yellow phase.
Using the metric set up by Eagle County Public Health, Town of Vail staff have awarded Grand Hyatt, Ritz Carlton Residences, Vail Marriott and Tavern on the Square a “5 Star” rating with The Four Seasons Resort and Spa scheduled for an inspection soon.
