Larson Housing Policy Leadership Award winner for the innovative and highly successful Vail InDEED program. The announcement follows a lengthy evaluation process that consisted of a jury review of the program and panel interviews.

Crews hired by the Town of Vail will be milling and repaving West Meadow Drive beginning Monday, Sept. 28. The town’s Environmental Sustainability team is looking to collect your thoughts on the future of e-bike share systems in Vail. Following a pilot program this summer in which 12 e-bikes were used to log a collective 2,062 miles through 518 riders in partnership with Bewegen Technologies, the town is interested in capturing community feedback to help determine if the program should be offered in the future.
The Vail Town Clerk’s Office is accepting pro and con statements on Ballot Issue 2G which will appear on the Eagle County Coordinated Election ballot on Nov. 3. Ballot Issue 2G is Vail’s only election question. It asks voters to “de-Gallagher” by authorizing the Vail Town Council to adjust the town’s mill levy rate for the sole purpose of sustaining existing levels of revenue from future state-imposed reductions in residential assessed valuation rates.
