New Year's Eve in Vail will include bus service enhancements and the presence of police and fire personnel to ensure that a safe and fun atmosphere is provided for residents and guests. Non-essential Town of Vail offices will be closing at noon Tuesday, Dec. 24 with most offices remaining closed on Wednesday, Dec. 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday. All offices will reopen on Thursday, Dec. 26. Additional parking locations will be available in Vail during the holiday season for Value card holders. The Red Sandstone parking garage at 559 N. Frontage Road will accept Value cards for payment on levels 3 and 4 beginning Saturday, Dec. 21 and extending through Sunday, Jan. 5. This availability has been created by the closure of Red Sandstone Elementary School for the holidays.
