Mill Creek Circle Closure, Aug. 2-6

The Mill Creek Circle utility and street reconstruction project in Vail will require the closure of Mill Creek Circle at Vail Valley Drive for installation of the new sanitary sewer main. The closure is expected to last from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 2 -6. The detour will be Vail Road through the Mill Creek Road forest service tunnel located at Vail Front Door to the Vail Resorts parking lot located off Mill Creek Circle. Written notification of the closure was sent to residents during the week of July 26. Additionally, flaggers will be on site to provide maps to assist people around the detour.

The Mill Creek Circle project is being funded jointly by the Town of Vail, Eagle River Water & Sanitation District and Holy Cross Energy and includes installation of new water and sewer lines, electrical infrastructure upgrades, drainage improvements and an asphalt overlay. Construction will continue to November. The contractor is Ewing Trucking.
