Police Officer Openings

The Vail Police Department is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our innovative and progressive police department. Interested candidates must meet all accepted police officer standards including capacity to obtain a Colorado P.O.S.T. certification. Sixty credit hours from a credited college or university, BA or BS degree preferred. Applicants living in Eagle and surrounding Lake and Summit counties are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have excellent public relations, communications, problem solving skills and a high-level of integrity. Spanish speaking skills are ideal. All applicants must undergo polygraph, psychological, drug screen, background investigation and physical abilities testing.
